A man returns home early from work one afternoon and walks into his bedroom — only to find his wife spread out on the bed, puffing and panting like she’s just run a marathon. Her hair is messy, her face is flushed, and she looks completely overwhelmed. The sight stops him cold.
Completely confused, he blurts out, “What on earth are you doing?”
Caught off guard, his wife panics. She stammers, her eyes darting around the room, searching for an excuse. “Er… I… um… I think I’m having a heart attack,” she finally blurts out.
Terrified, the husband immediately pulls out his phone. “Oh my God!” he says. “Don’t move. I’m calling an ambulance right now.”
Just as he turns away to dial, their young son comes sprinting down the hallway, wide-eyed and breathless. “Dad! Dad!” the boy shouts. “Uncle George is hiding naked in the wardrobe!”
The room goes completely silent.
The man slowly lowers his phone. He turns back toward the bed, then glances at the wardrobe, then back at his wife. His expression shifts from panic to disbelief in seconds.
“A heart attack?” he says calmly. “You’re having a heart attack… while your brother is naked in the closet?”
The wife opens her mouth to speak — but nothing comes out.
