The evening started like any other, until the husband decided to test his sense of humor. Standing in the bedroom, folding laundry with a smirk on his face, he glanced at his wife and said, “Maybe we should start washing your clothes in Slim Fast. Might shave a few inches off your backside.” He laughed at his own joke, clearly proud of himself. His wife didn’t laugh. “You said Slim Fast works by absorbing fat,” she replied. “So I figured I’d help it get a head start.”

The look on his face was priceless. The realization hit him all at once, and she didn’t need to say another word. He stood there, holding his powdered underwear, finally understanding that some jokes cost more than they’re worth.
