PRAY FOR WHOOPI GOLDBERG! Whoopi Goldberg,
the beloved actress and comedian, has faced a severe health setback, casting a shadow over her vibrant career.
Y’all lets pray for Ms. Esther, the infamous bike lady, (aka Whoopi)!!! She was assaulted in the hospital parking lot and is in critical condition. She is 85 years old and for as long as I can remember has rode her bicycle around the city of Winston Salem. I only say this to give context, but many refer to her as “Whoopi”, bc she does resemble her, especially with her hair. She is a very smart lady. I had a chance to get to know her a little bit, when I worked at the Fox and Hound on Thruway, and she would respectfully come in out of the cold and we would get her a warm meal. Life hasn’t always been kind to her and she had some really rough times many years ago and never fully got over it..I hope she is able to recover! Bless her!
