A man and his wife were cuddling on the couch one evening, watching a romantic movie. Just as the hero leaned in for a kiss, their 8-year-old son walked in, saw them, gasped loudly, and shouted:
“Ewwww! Grown-up grossness!”
He covered his eyes dramatically and ran out of the room.
The dad chuckled, “Kids, huh?”
But the mom said, “You better talk to him before he grows up thinking hugs are a crime.”
The dad went to look for him but couldn’t find him in his room. Just then, he heard music coming from Grandma’s room. Curious, he peeked in—and there was their son standing in front of Grandma’s mirror, practicing with a hairbrush like a microphone.
He was singing, “Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down…”
The dad blinked. “What are you doing?”
The kid said, “I’m practicing being romantic! You said girls love songs and hugs, right?”
Grandma was clapping along.
Dad said, “Well… that’s not exactly what I meant, but I like your style.”
