A truck driver walks into a cafe on the Hume Highway with a full-grown emu behind him.
The waitress asks for his order.
The truckie says, \u201cI\u2019ll have a hamburger, chips and a coffee.\u201d<\/em>
He turns to the emu. \u201cWhat about you?\u201d<\/em>
\u201cSounds good to me, I\u2019ll have the same,\u201d<\/em> the emu replies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The waitress returns with their meals. \u201cThat\u2019ll be $10.50, please.\u201d<\/em>
The truckie reaches into his pocket, pulls out the exact change, and pays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This happens again the next day. And the day after that. Always the same order, always the exact change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, on Friday night, the truckie says: \u201cI\u2019ll have a steak, baked potatoes and a salad.\u201d<\/em>
The emu chimes in: \u201cSounds great, same for me.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The waitress brings the meals. \u201cThat will be $32.65.\u201d<\/em>
Once again, the man reaches into his pocket and hands her the exact change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unable to hold back any longer, the waitress blurts out:
\u201cYou\u2019ve really got me there, mate. How do you always have the exact change?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The truckie leans back and says:
\u201cWell, years ago I found a magic lamp. When I rubbed it, a genie promised me two wishes. My first wish was that whenever I had to pay for something, I\u2019d just reach into my pocket and pull out exactly the right amount of money.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The waitress gasps. \u201cThat\u2019s brilliant! But what about the emu?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The truckie sighs\u2026
