My boyfriend, Mason Hale, and I had been living together for two years in a home I bought long before we met. It wasn\u2019t extravagant, but it was mine. My name was on the deed, my savings paid for the renovations, and every corner of that place reflected years of hard work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I blinked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
