A wealthy old man was lying on his bed when it occurred to him that he had never made a will.
So, he called his lawyer to help him draft one.
The next day, the lawyer arrived, and the old man said,
\u201cI want 25% of my money to go to charity. After all, I\u2019ve taken so much; I should give something back.\u201d
\u201cHow generous of you,\u201d the lawyer replied. \u201cI\u2019ll make sure that happens right away.\u201d
\u201cI also want 25% to go to my son. He\u2019s been waiting for the day he could get his hands on my money,\u201d the old man added.
\u201cOkay, I\u2019ll make sure he gets 25%,\u201d the lawyer responded.
\u201cAnd the rest should go to my wife, on the condition that she remarries after I pass,\u201d the old man said.
A bit puzzled, the lawyer asked, \u201cOkay, I\u2019ll make sure that happens. But may I ask why you want her to remarry? It\u2019s a rather unusual request.\u201d
The old man grinned and said,
